Past Continuous Tense, ge\u00e7mi\u015fte ya\u015fanm\u0131\u015f ve belirli bir s\u00fcreci kapsayan olaylar\u0131 ifade etmek i\u00e7in kullan\u0131l\u0131r. &#8220;Ge\u00e7mi\u015f zaman\u0131n hikayesi&#8221; olarak da bilinen bu tense yap\u0131s\u0131 ile c\u00fcmle kurulurken, hem birbiri ile alakal\u0131 hem de alakas\u0131z\/ilgisiz olaylardan bahsedilebilir. Past Continuous Tense yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n T\u00fcrk\u00e7e kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 olan c\u00fcmleler bulmak m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc birebir benzer bir yap\u0131 T\u00fcrk\u00e7ede de s\u0131kl\u0131kla kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Annem kitap okuyordu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Bu\u011fra ders \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yordu.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Past Continuous Tense c\u00fcmle yap\u0131s\u0131 &#8220;Subject+ was\/were+ V-ing + object&#8221; \u015feklindedir. Ge\u00e7mi\u015fte belli bir s\u00fcre\u00e7 i\u00e7erisinde ya\u015fanan birbiri ile ilgili veya ilgisiz olaylar\u0131 anlatmak i\u00e7in Past Continuous Tense kullan\u0131m\u0131 gereklidir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Past Continuous Tense Gramer Kurallar\u0131 Anlat\u0131m\u0131<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Past Continuous Tense&#8217;de \u0130nglizcedeki standart c\u00fcmle yap\u0131s\u0131 kural\u0131 ge\u00e7erlidir. &#8220;\u00d6ne+ y\u00fcklem+ nesne&#8221; olarak bilinen bu standart yap\u0131da yard\u0131mc\u0131 fiil\/fiil Past Continuous Tense zaman\u0131na g\u00f6re \u00e7ekimlenir. Past Continuous Tense gramer kurallar\u0131 yard\u0131mc\u0131 fiil ve fiil \u00fczerinden ilerler. Bu zaman t\u00fcr\u00fcnde yard\u0131mc\u0131 fiil &#8220;be&#8221; fiilinin ge\u00e7mi\u015f zaman hali olan &#8220;was-were&#8221; formudur. Ayr\u0131ca was-were sonras\u0131nda gelen fiile &#8220;ing&#8221; tak\u0131s\u0131 getirilir. Past Continuous Tense&#8217;de c\u00fcmle kurarken farkl\u0131 olaylardan bahsedilebilece\u011fi i\u00e7in ba\u011fla\u00e7lar da s\u0131k s\u0131k kullan\u0131l\u0131r. En s\u0131k kullan\u0131lan ve \u00e7ok bilinen ba\u011fla\u00e7lar &#8220;while, when, as&#8221; gibi \u00f6rneklerdir. Bu ek ise yard\u0131mc\u0131 fiilde was\/were yap\u0131s\u0131d\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca Past Continuous Tense gramer kurallar\u0131na g\u00f6re was-were yard\u0131mc\u0131 fiilinden sonra gelen ana fiile &#8220;-ing&#8221; tak\u0131s\u0131 gelir. -ing tak\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n fiillere nas\u0131l getirilece\u011fi ile ilgili kurallara a\u015fa\u011f\u0131da g\u00f6rebilirsiniz:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Fiilin sonunda bir sessiz harf + -e varsa, sondaki \u201ce\u201d harfi d\u00fc\u015fer ve \u201c-ing\u201d eklenir. Dance&gt; Dancing.<\/li><li>Fiilin sonunda bir sesli + bir sessiz harf varsa sessiz harf \u00e7ift yaz\u0131l\u0131r ve \u2013 ing eklenir. Cut&gt;Cutting.<\/li><li>Yukar\u0131daki kural \u201cw, y ex\u201d harfleri \u00e7in ge\u00e7erli de\u011fildir. Bu harfler \u00e7ift yaz\u0131lmaz. Sing&gt; Singing.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu kurallara ek olarak bilinmesi gereken bir kural da \u0130ngilizce\u2019de her fiil \u201c-ing\u201d tak\u0131s\u0131 almad\u0131\u011f\u0131d\u0131r. Bu fiiler State Verbs olarak da adland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131r. Durum fiilleri anlam olarak \u015fimdiki zaman\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131yor olsa da \u015fimdiki zaman c\u00fcmle yap\u0131s\u0131yla \u201cing\u201d tak\u0131s\u0131 eklenerek kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 do\u011fru de\u011fildir. Bu kural\u0131n en net bilinen \u00f6rne\u011fi \u201cI love you\u201d c\u00fcmlesidir. T\u00fcrk\u00e7e\u2019de \u201cSeni seviyorum\u201d olarak ifade edilen bu c\u00fcmle d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc gibi \u201c-ing\u201d tak\u0131s\u0131 almaz. \u0130ngilizce dil yap\u0131s\u0131na g\u00f6re sevmek ve di\u011fer durum belirten fiiller \u201c-ing\u201d eki ile kullan\u0131lmaz.
