Simple Past tense ge\u00e7mi\u015fte tamamlanan olay veya olaylar\u0131 anlatmak i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lan yayg\u0131n bir zaman t\u00fcr\u00fcd\u00fcr.  Ge\u00e7mi\u015f zaman\u0131 anlatmak i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lan en temel yap\u0131d\u0131r. Fiillerin ge\u00e7mi\u015f zaman halleri, was-were ve did yard\u0131mc\u0131 fiilleri c\u00fcmle yap\u0131lar\u0131nda yer al\u0131r. &#8220;Last week, last month, two days ago&#8221; gibi zaman zarflar\u0131 bu tensede s\u0131k s\u0131k kar\u015f\u0131n\u0131za \u00e7\u0131kabilir.
